
Q: I do a Renaissance Faire impression, but am not affiliated with a group can I attend in costume? Will there be suttlers present from this period?
A: YES on both, but please keep your costume historical, not fantasy.
Q: Will there be authentic militaria for sale or is it only reproductions?
A: Yes, there will be militaria dealers that sell nothing but authentic items
as well as many that sell reproductions.
Q: I'd like to bring my son but we are not reenactors, can the general public attend?
A: Absolutely! The general public is ENCOURAGED to attend and we have lots to see and do for young and old alike!
Q: Is this a fantasy costuming convention?
A: No. This is a Historical Reenacting Convention. That mean recreations of HISTORICAL costumes and uniforms. Wizards, Hobbits, and Stormtroopers have their own conventions, and we please ask they respect ours by not attending dressed in fantasy costumes.

Q: Do I get in free if I wear a uniform?
A: No. I am wearing a uniform and it still costs me tens of thousands of dollars and a year's worth of planning for ME to get in!
Q: What is the policy regarding weapons? Can I bring in my sword or rifle?
A: Sheathed blades are permitted. If you brandish it, or engage in mock swordplay you will be asked to leave. Live, functioning modern guns (that use brass cased bullets) are not permitted. Dummy versions of modern guns are okay. Flint locks, fire locks, etc. are permitted.
